Night at the Museum - Coming May 13th @ 7:00p.m.





The students learned all about the famous artist Pablo Picasso. They studied, analyzed and critiqued his art. They learned all about Picasso's Blue Period and Rose Period. They also learned about the unique ways Picasso painted faces.The students learned the importance of symmetry and placement of facial features. The students decided to make their own Picasso style face by mixing two different students together in order to form one face. Just imagine what you would look like if you were mixed together with your classmate.Enjoy...

The fifth grade students learned all about the artist Edvard Munch and his famous painting the scream. They learned about the connection of the explosion of Krakatoa and the scream painting. To put a new twist on this very famous painting the students recreated the painting and added humorous things that made them want to scream.
