Please be reminded of the following due dates for your child’s project or report for the 2006 P.S. 236 Science Exhibition:

                                            Science Fair 2009 Packet


                             Monday, March 9, 2009: Grade 4 ONLY

Tuesday, March 10, 2009: Grade 5 ONLY

Wednesday, March 11, 2009: Grade 3 ONLY

Thursday, March 12, 2009: Grade 2 and Grade 1

Friday, March 13, 2009: Kindergarten and any absentees

**If children in more than one grade work together, the project must be sent in with the older child on the date above.**

The third grade is working with pan balances to determine the difference in the mass of a wet sponge and a dry sponge.








The third graders have been learning how to measure using the metric system. They worked together with a partner to measure their height as well as their arm span using a meter tape.
