New Yorkers for Parks donated daffodil bulbs to

P.S. 236. With the help of Ms. Labella and the

Gardening Committee, they were planted on

Friday, December 3rd.

Ann Lautner of the Brooklyn Public Library visited P.S. 236 to join our

students as they Read for the Record.

On October 7, 2010 Americans everywhere read

The Snowy Day
by Ezra Jack Keats

to set a new world record for the greatest number of people

reading the same book on the same day.
