Principal's Statement

The educational program at P.S. 255 is developed to meet the needs of our diverse student population. Our academic program encompasses the components of standards based education and District 22/Region 6's Core Curriculum. A diagnostic-prescriptive approach has been implemented across the grades to enhance learning. Parent involvement is encouraged and highly coveted. Our active Parent Association in collaboration with our Parent Coordinator provide information, workshops, and activities for parents. We believe that students benefit where there is a mutually respectful collaboration between home and school. We feel that every student is a "star" at PS 255.
