This is the third semester of four semesters of global studies. The Regents examination for this class is in June 2009. We begin with the Enlightenment and end at the close of WWII.

This is an English skills class with an emphasis on nonfiction writing. It will be taught primarily through a Social Studies content.
H5J-01 AMERICAN HISTORY – First Semester
This is the first semester of two semesters of U.S. history. The Regents examination for this class is in June 2009. We begin at the inception of our country’s history and continue on up to the endof the nineteenth century.

School materials will include a textbook and dictionaries which remain in the classroom, and glossaries and additional photocopies prepared by the teacher for the students to work with.
Habra un libro y diccionarios que se mantienen en la sala de clase, y glosarios y fotocopias preparados por la profesora.
Students are required to bring a looseleaf notebook and paper to class, as well as a pen or pencil.
