Our Community
I.S. 55 supports Sight for Students- a program that provides eye exams and eyeglasses to students based on needs; P.A.L. (73rd Precinct), and Gear Up!, a CUNY Medgar Evers College initiative for grades 7 and 8, that include partnerships with Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment, YMCA, Cablevision and the New York Times.
