ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Here at the General D. Chappie James Middle School of Science we provide a challenging academic program where students learn by investigating science concepts and linking those topics to math, social studies, physical education and technology.  We also offer drama and music programs that have connections to science.  Competitive sports programs are available.

Our students are part of a tight knit multicultural community and benefit greatly from our small and unique class size.  We have created a learning community that is student, teacher and parent friendly.

Every student can obtain academic success through goal setting, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Students develop strong work habits through discussions and projects that engage problem solving skills and critical thinking.
