Building The Woods

    Take a stroll through our student created life size woods.  Not only will you see the trees, but you will actually find birds sitting on the branches, an owl nesting in a trunk and wildlife peeking out of the bushes.

P.S. 28’s school wide theme has been Into the Woods for the 2007/2008 school year.  Science, Social Studies, Math and Literacy have been integrated to create this wonderful project.  Students worked within their classrooms with Cluster Teachers and Enrichment Teachers to create the trees, bugs, birds and animals.

This has been an exciting opportunity for the students to take a walk through the woods without having to step outside of the building.
