PS 81’s Modern Mona Lisa
Third grade students studied Leonardo da Vinci’s work, learned about proportions of the face, and created their own version of the Mona Lisa.
Da Vinci was an Italian Renaissance artist and inventor. Da Vinci painted this portrait in the early 1500’s. Today, after more than 500 years, it is still the world’s most famous portrait.
