Mrs. Wiener's 3-312

Class 3-312 read TFK What Lives in
the Sea? After that we researched exactly what animals and organisms
live in the coral reef. We learned that there are 250,000 different marine species in the coral reef.
We then made diarams about the different animals, crustaceans, mullusks, and organism that live
in the sea.

Ayat and Frank made diaramas about the different fish they read about. We learned about gold fish, rainbow fish and angel fish.

Luis and Alyianah learned about jelly fish and mullusks. Did you know that a jelly fish loses his shape
when it comes to shore? Did you also know that mullusks do not have a backbone?

Damanjit, Destiny, Tatiana and Rafael made diaramas that showed the different animals in the
coral reef. Like crabs, octopus, squid, fish and coral. Coral looks beautiful but it also helps
fish get food.

Xavier and Saul also made diarams that have many sea animals organism and coral.

We learned that scientists spent 10 years studying the coral reef. They studied how
the sharks travel, how to protect the endangered sea creatures.
We loved reading all this information and making our diaramas!
