Ms. Howard's class does variations of the "I Have a Dream" speech

Students read about Martin Luther King Jr. and listen to his famous “I Have a Dream” speech! Students were encouraged to write their own ’I Have a Dream” speech, based on their own interests and wishes.




 
My dream is to have clean neighborhoods. Anyone who litters on the ground should get a ticket



 
My dream is that one day there would no more poor people. Everyone would have a nice place o live, and money. He also dreams of the day when there are no more homeless.

 


 
My dream is that people would not waste or throw away food. In places such as India, children do not have a lot of food – except through a special program at school.

 












 

I dream of the day when there is a cure for diabetes because my cousin has diabetes. My cousin has to get injections and they hurt.
