Our close proximity to Flushing Meadow Park helps us to enrich our science curriculum and enhance what students are learning in School. Students work with their Science and Social Studies teachers to conduct investigations at the park at least once a week. Our partnership with the Flushing Meadow Park Conservancy also provides opportunities for research that bring innovation and distinctiveness to our science program. By exploring the air, water, biology, geology, and natural sounds of the park, students experience the natural world. Throughout this process our students learn to love, protect and preserve the natural world.

Our students were awarded scholarships totalling $96,000 from O'Melveny and Myers, NY State Scholarships for Academic Excellence, and Action Team, among others.
