ish
by Peter H. Reynolds
Ramon loves to draw-he draws things that almost look like what they are-vases are vase-ish, trees are tree-ish. Ramon almost stops drawing forever when his brother teases him-until he sees his work through his sister's eyes...
Marisol has been saving all of Ramon's drawings in a "crumpled gallery"; she loves his drawings. Marisol admires Ramon's artwork, without looking for perfection. Ramon learns that being artistic-ish is just fine and decides to live an "ish" kind of life-his writing even starts to look poem-ish!
