P.S. 18 maintains a partnership with Teachers College Reading and Writing Project, hands-on math program, newly renovated science lab and library, computer lab, education in the visual arts, theater arts and music, academic intervention services, Math Team and the District's Gifted Magnet Program.
We all have special talents and hobbies!! P.S. 18 allows students to expand upon their hobbies or talents with these enrichment clusters! Enrichment clusters take place on Wednesday afternoons!

“RAINFOREST CONSERVATION”
Would you like to learn to be a conservationist? Travel to the tropical rainforests. We will learn about the unusual animals and plants that call the rainforests home and why they are important to planet earth. Are you ready to make our world a better place?
“DEBATE CLUB”
Are you someone who likes to express their opinions about topics that are important to you? Join us and you’ll get the chance. Learn how to research, organize and speak your mind. We will create teams and compete against each other.
“WRITE ON”
Express yourself through the art of calligraphy! Learn how to craft beautiful letters using ink and pen – the tools of the calligrapher. Think of all the great projects we can make – stationery and note cards.
“ACTORS STUDIO”
Have you ever dreamed of becoming an actor, taking on the roles of other characters and stepping out of your own shoes? Well, the Actors Studio is the place for you! Take center stage, shine like a star while rehearsing and putting on a play production. The world is a stage and each of you can play a part.
“ENGINEERING 101”
If you like math, science and construction, this is the group for you. What makes a skyscraper stand? How do bridges support cars? Learn the answers to these questions as we build amazing structures.
