Our Mission

Louis Pasteur Middle School 67 is dedicated to promoting academic achievement by creating a teaching and learning environment that recognizes the unique social, emotional and intellectual needs of young adolescents. We believe that our school is an important part of the Little Neck - Douglaston community. Teaching children the value of community service and engaging them in community projects provides children with a life long appreciation of the symbiotic relationship between the community and themselves. The academic and social components of the school program enable our students to meet and exceed the high academic and performance standards established by the city, state and federal governments in a supportive and caring manner.

Special Programs

Mini-schools & Grade teams create smaller learning environments for students. Interdisciplinary Language Arts/Social Studies teams are features of all grades. Acceleration classes in Math, Science, and Foreign Language afford students the opportunity to pursue more challenging subject matter. Enrichment classes in Art, Music, and Computers are given.

Extracurricular Activities

Before & After school programs. Math, Science, Law, Jazz, Debate & Conflict Resolution Teams. Math League, Science Olympiad, School Newspaper, Academy of Medicine Jr. Fellows, Health seminars, Photography, Technology, Tennis, Volleyball, Softball and Basketball Teams.

Our Community

Community service and involvement are activities fostered by our Student Organization and after school clubs. Collaboration with Queens Child Guidance Center, St. Mary's Hospital, North Shore University Hospital and LN/Douglaston LIONS Club are well established.
