    Parent Involvement at P.S. 203 Q

    The P.S. 203 Parent Teacher Association (PTA) supports the mission, vision and goals of the school community

    Join PTA Committees. E.g.; Harvest Day, Photo Day, Graduation, Bake Sale, etc.

    Support the Membership Donation Drive & other Fundraising Efforts: There are no dues required to be a PTA member. The PTA depends on these activities to support its budget and goals to provide classroom, school-wide and school community wide enrichment, programs and events throughout the year.

    School Leadership Team: Several parents are selected every two years to serve on the Team. The Team reviews the school Comprehensive Education Plan

    *PTA General Membership Meetings: Held monthly; a great place to catch up and preview what is going on at school.

    How can parents support their child’s educational experience?

    SAFETY FIRST: THE BLUE AND GREEN EMRGENCY CARDS MUST HAVE REAL PHONE NUMBERS WHERE YOU MAY BE REACHED.

    * Be an active member of the PTA.

    * Participate in school-wide and classroom events and activities.

    * Check your child’s daily assignments and review homework.

    *Get your child to school on time!

    * READ, READ, READ with your child every day.
