APRIL IS POETRY MONTH!

In celebration of Poetry Month, the Martin Van Buren Community is posting their favorite poems on its website. All parents and faculty members are encouraged to submit their favorite poem. Please include your name, as well as a comment, and send it as a word document to ckross@schools.nyc.gov. All poems will be printed and displayed in the school. April 18^th is “POEM IN YOUR POCKET DAY” and the Martin Van Buren Community is invited to participate. Poems will be available for students, faculty and families to pick-up and hand out to friends, family, and others you meet throughout the day.
