Art Education

Ms. S. Ivy Green is our Visuals Art Teacher.

All kindergarten and first grade students have art education twice per week.  The students learn about color theory, shape and form, and the works of past and present artists.  They experiment in all types of mixed media, including watercolor and tempera paints, paper maché, fiber arts, clay sculpture, etc.  Individual and group art projects are part of the curriculum.  Ms. Green had the first art exhibit on November 10, 2011.  It was well attended.

Pre-kindergarten students engage in individual and group art projects in the classroom with their teacher, Ms. Jennifer Wolff.
