Welcome!

Welcome to a new school year at P.S. 51 Queens!  It will be good to hear the sounds of little voices and footsteps in the school again! 

We hope your children are prepared for an exciting adventure in learning.  Our teachers have spent a great deal of time getting their classrooms and programs ready for the children. We have new science materials for our students, which will give them more hands-on learning experiences in the classroom. 

We invite all parents to be our partners in educating their children.  To quote an old African proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child."  Please make every effort to find out what your children are learning in school and continue your own learning through participation in workshops, PTA meetings, family involvement trips and parent teacher conferences at P.S. 51 Queens.  We hope you and your family have a wonderful year!
