Stay Informed & Get Involved
Staying informed about your child's academic performance and behavior at school is key to making sure he/she is developing the skills he/she will need to be successful in college and careers.  The easiest way to stay updated about your child's education is to get involved at your child's school:  check in regularly with your child's teacher(s), attend parent teacher conferences, volunteer at school events, and/or join the parent association.  For more information please visit:

GRADING POLICY

DEVELOPMENTAL READING ASSESSMENT (DRA)

All children in our school have been given a Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA) which lets us know the child’s current reading level.  The DRA is an assessment we give children in reading with specific questions about a particular story.  Each level has different stories and questions children must answer.
Children are expected to move to different levels throughout the year.  Below is the chart showing the levels children should reach on each grade.
