Dear Students,
Welcome to fourth grade. In order to avoid the September rush, we thought a supply list in June would help with school shopping. All supplies are to be brought to class on the first day of school. Be sure that your supplies are properly labeled with your name and class. Loose-leaf binders are not allowed due to limited desk space.
SUPPLY LIST FOR FOURTH GRADE
school bag (large and sturdy)
5 LARGE marble notebooks
sharpened pencils
2 blue pens
1 highlighter
1 fine tip black “Sharpie” marker
1 package dry erase markers and erasers
wide-line markers and 12 pack of colored pencils
4 pocket folders
glue stick (white)
scissors
1 ruler with inches and centimeters
1 compass , 1 protractor
pencil sharpener
2 packages of lined index cards
2 packages of wide ruled loose-leaf paper (one to be kept home)
pencil case or school box to hold pencils, pens, glue, scissors, etc.
paperback dictionary ( Webster’s New World is recommended )
a book to read at all times
1 box of tissues
1 roll of paper towels
1 package of colored construction paper for book reports and project covers (to be kept at home)

P.S. Please study your basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. These must be memorized to begin fourth grade math.
