Mission
The Rockwood Park School has had a clear and meaningful credo that defines our daily purpose, "In Pursuit of Excellence." Simply stated, it reveals that we will always strive for the more difficult goal rather than settle for the easier one.

The Rockwood Park School has been a model of public education since 1965 despite vast changed in demographics, politics and social mores. Our academic goals have remained lofty and our professional staff has maintained its dedication and increased its expertise throughout the years.
Based on the premise that all children can and will learn in the proper atmosphere, our Mission Statement declares that the school community at PS/MS 207Q will provide a safe, standards-driven educational environment that supports, guides and encourages students to develop freedom of expression, respect for others, intellectual stimulation and an appreciation for the Arts and Sciences with an emphasis on discovery and the love of learning for all.
