Principal's Office

A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We beat those “first-month” jitters and have witnessed a smooth transition from a relatively unstructured summer to the rigors and routine of a school schedule.  Congratulations to those of you who have shown your spirit of unity and cooperation.

As I welcome your youngsters  each morning, I do feel the need to reiterate and expand upon Arrival and Dismissal Procedures found in the   Parent Handbook:

     ARRIVAL:

Students can enter the building at 7:30a.m. daily for breakfast. To maintain consistency, our breakfast program will be open everyday from 7:30a.m. - 8:00 am. Instruction will begin at 8:00 Monday - Thursday and 8:40 am on Friday.

Please be mindful  when you are dropping off students. When you are exiting the cars, please make sure you and your children check to see that no other cars and /or buses are coming down the block.

·         DISMISSAL:

Prekindergarten - second grade students are dismissed from the auditorium. Third - fifth grade students are dismissed from the gymnasium. Sixth and seventh grade students are sent directly outside.  If your child attends PAL, their are sent to the cafeteria to sign in with at program.

Safety is of utmost importance and your patience is appreciated and a desired example for the children.

Our November calendar was sent home and we ask you to carefully note and plan in advance for class trips and all other school and PT activities.
