The educational philosophy at Public School 30 is that all children are capable of a high level of achievement. P.S. 30 strives to be an inclusionary school that does not differentiate children by their classification, i.e. Gen. Ed., Sp. Ed., ELL. Parents and the surrounding community have a major impact on a youngster's development, and as such, must share a collaborative relationship with the school to ensure each child's success. P.S. 30's goal is to provide children with a positive sense of self-esteem, thereby helping each child to realize and reach his/her highest potential, while recognizing his/her own individuality and specialness.
