Every year, Ms. Viola gets 12 eggs in an incubator from Quiver Farms, Pennsylvania. We all get to watch these eggs by making sure they are rotated and the temperature is just right. One week later we get to watch as these chicks peck their way out of their shell and become very fluffy baby chicks!
Watching the birthing process is very exciting for everyone in the school to see. It is of course very hard to let these cute chicks go back to the farm.
