Greetings from Parent Coordinator

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to our school!  We are very happy to have you join our family of learners.  I am excited to meet each one of you personally so that we can begin to build our partnership in support of your child.  One of the keys to your child‘s success will be your ongoing involvement in our school community.  Through the year, you will have many opportunities to meet your child’s teacher, paraprofessionals, and therapists; attend information sessions on the teaching approaches and learning materials that we use, and attend the many events we host to celebrate our students’ success.  As your child’s first and most important teacher, we also need you to help us get to know your child so that we can offer him/her the best learning experience possible.

I’m extremely interested in working closely with all of you to help satisfy the needs of your children.  It is my job to help you acquire any services your child may need.  Please feel free to contact me with questions regarding transportation, related services, health insurance information, and after school programs.  Furthermore, one of my main duties will be to inform you about any resources available to you and your child and advocate on your behalf.  I will serve you as your guide in the school system and community.

All of us at P.233Q are very happy that you and your child are part of our family.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you and your child get settled in here.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me at 718-286-4715 or by cell phone at 347-563-4153 or by e-mail at NGutierrez@schools.nyc.gov
