The annual “Pink Dance”, to raise money for breast cancer awareness was held on December 4 at the P.233Q @ I.S. 25 site and was an overwhelming success. Students, staff, families and friends from all of the P.233Q sites celebrated their service learning efforts in collecting donations of over $2,000.00. Students and staff presented a check to the representative from the Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital Breast Cancer Research facility as the culmination to a wonderfully exciting event. On hand to add another dimension of excitement were pink snacks, decorations, music, videos and interactive events.
