Welcome to First Grade!
Dear Parents,
Welcome back to school and to Class 102. My name is Ms. Ellis and I am your child's teacher. Please send in your child's school supplies, including a closed pencil case as soon as possible. We eat lunch at 11:15am and will be having a snack in the afternoon. Please send in a healthy snack such as a fruit, vegetables, fruit juice, granola or cereal bar for your child each day. Children are dismissed at 2:45pm in the schoolyard. Please try to be on time.
During the school year we collect money for trips and special activities. Please send the money in a sealed envelope with your child's name and class on it. There will be homework given nightly. Parents should sign homework after it is completed. It is very important to keep in contact with me letting me know any important information and/or changes with your child. You can call the school at 718-528-2238 and I will return your call as soon as possible.
