Welcome to Fifth Grade!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am looking forward to an exciting school year. I have been at P.S. 52 for many wonderful years. I have taught various grades, but truly enjoy teaching grade five.
I want to thank all the parents who have purchased the school supplies needed to kick off the 2012/2013 school year.
I would like to encourage all of you to please look at your child’s homework each night. Please check for a bag of books, a log notebook, and a vocabulary notebook each night for reading homework. Reading is succeeding!
Please push your child to read, read, and read!
There is also math homework each night .Students who do not complete homework on a regular basis will receive a phone call home. Feel free to sign all homework assignments. Let’s work together to help your child have a wonderful meaningful, successfully school year.
As you know, P.S. 52 is a uniform school. Please make sure your child is in uniform each day. Jeans and t-shirts are not acceptable. We are trying for 100% uniform participation.
