DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

All students who entered the 9th grade in September 2007 must pass 5 Regents Exams, four of which must be 65 or above.

Students who pass a second Science Regents, a second Math Regents and the three year Foreign Language Regents will receive an Advanced Regents Diploma. All Regents Exam grades must be 65 and over.

·          All students must complete a sequence requirement in addition to the required credits and exams noted above. Art majors take an Art Regents at the completion of their courses.

·          Additionally, to be awarded a Performing Arts diploma from Humanities and the Arts, students must pass all of the classes in their concentration.

 

PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS

-To be promoted to grade 10- Need 10 credits- and three Regents (Algebra, Living Environment & U.S.  History)

-To be promoted to grade 11- Need20 credits – 4 English /4 Social Studies - and have passed the Math and English Regents as well as Science & US History.

- To be promoted to grade 12- Need 28 credits and to have 3 regents (ELA & Math Req.) and have a Humanities program that will allow you to graduate on time.
