Our Mission

    The entire P.S. 4 educational community takes pride in our collaborative efforts to provide the best possible education in a warm, nurturing environment. The parents and school staff agree that the goal of P.S. 4 is to achieve high standards of learning while also developing creative skills. To provide the children with ample opportunities to express themselves creatively and develop appropriate social and academic skills, P.S. 4 places an emphasis on implementing a balanced literacy program including instruction and strategies to continue the ongoing alignment of standards and instruction.
