Welcome to our new School Portal!

Welcome to our new School Portal!

In conjunction with The New York City Department of Education's Division of Instructional and Information Technology, we are proud to launch this new School Portal to enhance the communication between our faculty, parents, students and New York City. This web portal offers a wealth of information about our school community and we hope you will find it to be a valuable resource.

Visit the “About Us” section to view detailed statistics about our school including our Annual School Report Card, weekly attendance data, student enrollment, school budget and more.

One of the best features of the new School Portal is our improved ability to immediately update information about daily and special events ranging from parent associations and Senior Leadership Team meetings to school exam schedules, celebrations and other time sensitive information.

As an extension of our school community, our new School Portal also better reflects who we are, featuring a new look and feel that allows us to express our individuality on the web.  We hope you enjoy this new look and that together with its improved usability it serves to create a more enjoyable user experience for you.

Check back with us frequently to see the latest news about our community and to learn about upcoming activities.  As always, we value your feedback.  Please use the feedback form on our
Contact Us page to send us your comments and suggestions.

This is a work in progress, so please be patient and check back often.

A Gift for PS 57

This October  the city auctioned off the lion sculptures which have been on display throughout the city. Larry Ambrosino, a former Principal of our school, graciously purchased the Liberian Lion for our school. It is now proudly displayed in our entry way. Come check out our new school mascot!!

Broadway Bound

This year some our students are visiting Broadway. In October Class 522 and Class 422 went to see, "The Lion King."  In November 2 other classes will be seeing, "Mary Poppin's."    I'm certain it will be a  Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious experience for them!
