New Administration Dates for State ELA Test in Grades 6-8:
January 21-23
Because of the presidential inauguration on January  20, the administration of the New York State English Language Arts exam for students in grades 6-8 will be postponed by one day and will begin on January 21. The ELA exam is now scheduled for January 21-22 for grades 7 and 8 and January 21-23 for grade 6.
