COLLEGIATE ACADEMY HONORS PROGRAM (Humanities, Science & Math)
Collegiate Academy Honors Program is a rigorous program for academically gifted students who are currently enrolled in an honors/accelerated level program in middle school and are maintaining at least an 85 average. Students should achieve a Level 4 or a high Level 3 on the Citywide Examinations in English and Mathematics. They should also have a good record of Attendance & Punctuality. Students can take advantage of AP and Regents tutoring programs (all subjects), a collaboration with Historic Richmondtown and a variety of educational trips. |

GATEWAY HONORS PROGRAM (Science & Math)
Gateway is a rigorous honors program preparing students for college and careers in medicine and related health professions. Gateway advantages are: Enriched Science and Math classes; Tutorial Sessions in Math and Science; Special Trips, College Fairs, Tours, Educational Experiences; Summer Internships at Hospitals, Universities and Museums and a Summer High School Prep Program for Incoming Freshmen. Students must have a grade average of 85% or higher. Students must have a Level 3 or 4 on the Citywide Examinations (English and Mathematics). They should also have a good record of Attendance & Punctuality. |

COLLEGE DISCOVERY PROGRAM (Humanities & Interdisciplinary)
Focuses on giving the hard working average student some honors level courses in a small house setting.
CD students must maintain at least 78% overall average. These students are strongly recommended to take 3 years of a foreign language, 4 years of math and should take Honors or Advanced Placement courses. Our goal is to develop a “well-rounded” student with a variety of educational experiences. |

INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES
The ISS Program provides various additional support services to students with special needs. These services may include: Collaborative Team Teaching, Small Group Instruction, Counseling, Vision and Hearing Services. |

CULINARY ARTS (Culinary Arts)
The CA Program prepares students for career opportunities in the Catering and Food Services Industry. The three-year course sequence introduces and trains students in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. Students will utilize these skills in the student-run Raider Café.
The Port Richmond High School Culinary Arts Department is very active in the community donating services and presenting food demonstrations. We can be seen at the Staten Island Children's Museum assisting with their Kidz Cook program, at the Staten Island Zoo at the Italian Festival, and hosting countless breakfasts, brunches, and luncheons for the Port Richmond High School community. We also boast many Careers Through Culinary Arts, C-CAP, scholarships

JROTC
JROTC is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. Drill Class provides the opportunity to travel and participate in local and national competitions. |

PERFORMING & VISUAL ARTS (Performing/Visual Arts)
Students will be involved in one or more of the performing arts ensembles including Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, Guitar Ensemble, Concert Choir, dance and/or musical theatre productions, or in a sequence of visual arts classes including cartooning and illustrations, painting, print-making, fashion and textiles, ceramics and portfolio work. |

MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS ACADEMY (Communications)
This academy provides students with a hands-on approach to understanding mass media in partnership with NBA Entertainment and Staten Island Cable Television while providing opportunities to develop skills in TV production and journalism. Students in this program are provided the opportunity to write, edit and film their own video productions in Port Richmond’s on-site TV Studio. Students can study journalism, news reporting, writing, and production as they follow a 4-year sequence of specialized English courses and electives. |

CAREER & TECHNOLOGY
The Business and Information Technology House prepares students for a career in business. Our Three year program includes Computer Applications leading to MOS Certification, Entrepreneurship and our program capstone Virtual Enterprise. Through Virtual Enterprise, students operate a simulated business on an international level, learning the skills required of an employee in a firm including human resources, accounting, product development, production, distribution, marketing, and sales. There are two tracks in this house students can choose from, Entrepreneurship and the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism. Each program offers opportunities to participate in international trade fairs, internships, college courses, and scholarships. |

MED-TECH (Health Professions)
Med-Tech Program introduces students to a multifaceted curriculum and extra-curricular approaches to medical technology education with an emphasis towards “hands-on” learning building needed college skills. |

LEGAL STUDIES INSTITUTE (Law & Government) (Social Studies)
Students will take courses related to the Legal System. Students will participate in Mentor Moot Court Competition and Internships. |

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS
The ELL Program is designed to assist students for whom English is a new Language. Students are assisted in acquiring a comfortable level of English fluency in order to communicate as well as learn. One goal is to have each of our ELL students gain the competency to pass Regents Exams and, ultimately, obtain a diploma. Further, it is also important to foster the acquisition of language that allows ELL students to function in our English speaking society, both on a social level and a professional one. |
