RE: Senior Bulletin #1
DATE: September 2008
Congratulations, you’ve made it! You are now a SENIOR and are beginning the final year of your high school education. This year promises to be both an exciting and demanding one. Selecting a college requires a great deal of thought, research and consultation with your parents and college counselor.
During the course of the year, you will be receiving many newsletters similar to this one. Please read each one carefully and SAVE THEM for future reference. Also, get into the practice of passing by our Bulletin Boards outside the College and Career Office, Room B233, at least once a week.
The College and Career Office is a wonderful resource for information crucial to making informed college decisions. I urge you to take advantage of college videos, scholarship information and college guide books you will find in the College and Career Office. In addition, you will find posters announcing when college representatives will be visiting Port Richmond H.S., Open Houses and special college programs.
The College and Career Office is located in Room B233 and is available to you from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. or whenever you are free—during lunch or study period. Please come in and make use of our services. We will be glad to help you with any problems concerning the choice of a school or career. Please come in and schedule an appointment with Mrs. Watkins as soon as possible.
