Every year our school hosts a Scholastic Book Fair to help raise money for our school. This school year we decided to have two book fairs; one in November to raise money to purchase books for the Summer Learning Bags and a second in March to raise money to buy materials for the Summer Learning Bags. Thanks to the support from our students, staff, and families this past book fair, which took place during the week of March 10, 2008, has been our most profitable book fair yet!
If you didn't get a chance to stop by our book fair here are some of things you missed. On Monday March 10, 2008 we hosted, "Muffins with Mom", which gave moms and some dads a chance to shop while their children were in class. This was a very relaxing experience for the parents. During parent teacher conferences the book fair was open, so parents had the opportunity to reward their children with a good book for all their hard work. Be sure to stop by our next book fair next fall (date is still pending).
