Our Mission

The mission of P.S. 384, is to provide all students the opportunity to achieve academic excellence by providing fundamental skills and knowledge in a learning environment that fosters strong instructional practices. The administration, staff and parents will provide support and expert instruction so that every child will meet or exceed high standards. In addition, we are committed to the belief that all children can and will learn if they are instilled with a sense of responsibility to acknowledge and learn the importance of becoming a productive member in a cultural diversified world. Through shared responsibility: We believe Standards are essential if we are to prepare our students for the future. Teachers must be active participants in their approach and steadfast in their commitment to help students accept responsibility for their academic challenges. The commitment of school personnel and parents is critical in instilling responsibility.
