eLearning

The Department of eLearning Services is one of the NYC Department of Education’s 21st century solutions providing online tools and services which differentiate teaching and learning experiences for the entire DOE community. eLearning Services has centered its work around three core goals: building online capacity to design, develop and deliver blended learning opportunities within the OCSAE Virtual Campus; ensuring equity, access and student-centered learning through the exploration of virtual environments such as Second Life, Tabula Digita, and Conspiracy Code; and leveraging existing online curriculum supports such as Renzulli Learning in support of teaching practices and curricular materials used by OCSAE as part of the Campaign for Middle School Success.
