"Now and then throughout Segregation," Destin Bernavil, Third Grade, PS 159

We were once Segregated
and Segregated means Separated

We all wanted equality back then
and also in the future,

But it turns out
our quality never took equality
because of Segregation.

Separation is a part of Segregation
it's not an opposite direction.
We never gave that direction perfection.

In God we would strive for perfection
because it makes great first impression.
