Floating in the moonlight
Singing with the stars
The elves danced,
While a passerby became entranced
The trees fluttered and laughed
The streams gurgle and chuckled
Beasts of the wild came
With the elves they would be tame
They burst into a chorus of sound
Though none could be found
In the hidden trees
Chirps and squeaks,
Gurgles and creaks,
Above all
Was the howl of the timber wolves
and the roar of the jaguar
While a passerby became entranced
"Woohohee! Weeehaha!"
The flowing wind carried
Their song far into a distant land
Withered leaves gathered life'
Peope through away their strife'
"Woohohee! Weehaha!"
The elves danced and sang
Their hair flowing in the darkness
The moon smiled'
The wind queited,
And the dogs stopped their raucous barking
Until all that could be heard
was the elfin song
Floating in the moonlight,
Singing with the stars,
They danced and sang,
On Midsummer Eve
Floating in the moonlight
Singing with the stars
Their songs would weave,
Its way into minds
And out would would come wines,
For all should be merry
Elfin songs would weave,
On Midsummer Eve
Floating in the moonlight,
Singing with the stars
