She was a little kid,
Just like me and you.
But her childhood was spent in hiding,
And despite the terrors of the Holocaust,
She kept writing.
Anne had a diary that she filled with hope.
Between short stories and poems,
Her writing helped her cope.
Anne Frank is a person whom I admire.
For her bravery, talent,
And power to inspire.
