"I Am Unique," Prisca Obi, Sixth Grade, PS 140Q

Who am I?
I am what you call unique.

some people have red hair
Some people have blomd
Some have short
Others have long
But then there's me
My hair is dark and flowing
and glistens in the dark

Who am I?
I am what you call unique.

Some people have hazel eyes
Some people have gray
Some people wear blue eyes.
but none is the best
I say.
And then there is me.
My eyes are not hazel, gray or blue or green.
they are dark brown
And that's truly fine with me.
They are filled with youth, just like my soul.

Who am I?
I am what you call unique

some people have really dark skin
Other, really light
some have the color of cocoa brown
Very few.....a warm vinally glow
that they radiate from within
But then there is me
My skin is neither one of the four, but rather a mixture
A dash of vanilla
A spoonful of cocoa

Who am I?
I am what you call unique

Who wants to be unique?
Your hands aren't raised?
Uniqueness is a wonderful thing
Something that you all should have praised

I am unique.
What I always wanted to be
I am unique,
Yep.........that's me.
