Our teacher Mrs. Ashby is a great teacher. She has wonderful ideas. In third grade for our math lesson she had us pretend we were in a restaurant. We had to use our math skills to figure out what we could buy with a set amount of money. We also had to include a tip. This was a fun lesson except that my fellow students were unorganized and hungry. Due to this we were thrown out of the restaurant because we did not have enough of money. Mrs. Ashby also had great lessons on ELA test prep. We went into groups and as a group had to come up with questions for a paragraph we had read. We needed to have a question with 4 answers, 1 correct, 1 close to right answer and 2 wrong answers. This was a fun way to prepare for the ELA.
Mrs. Ashby is a teacher at PS 222 and is one of the best teachers that I know. I'm glad I have her again this year.
