James Ceribello, Teacher, William H. Maxwell High School

Although my complete high school experience was made wonderful by all the staff at William H. Maxwell H.S, I don't know if all I was able to accomplish would have been possible without the love and support of Mr. Ceribello.  I met him my freshman year when I was having some troubles at home. I was walking down the hallway, crying, when he stopped me and escorted me to his office. He let me vent for a while and then asked me what was wrong. I felt so comfortable that even though it was the first time I had seen him, I let it all out. From that moment on he became one of the most important people responsible for my success today. He taught me how to keep my mind off of my business at home and focus on my school work. Although I was not the best student, with his help I was able to graduate on time. Being able to talk to someone, having their support and getting some much needed advice was the key to becoming the person I am. There are not many words that can express my gratitude and how much I love him. A year and a half has passed since my high school graduation, and we still keep in contact. Mr. James Ceribello is and will always be just like a father to me. I love and adore him very much.
