My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to thank and commend Mrs. Tiffany Chin, Kindergarten teacher at P.S. 42--Benjamin Altman School, for her genuine sense of caring and for her dedication to giving my son a first-rate education. We have been tremendously impressed by not only Mrs. Chin's teaching method but also by the encouragement she has given our son in carrying out his assignments, the pointed feedback she has given us, and the many activities, such as field trips to museums, that she has taken her class on to round out the learning experience. She even cooked two turkeys at Thanksgiving for a celebration for her students and their parents! In sum, she is a credit to public education in this city, and we consider ourselves fortunate that our son is in her care while we toil at our own jobs. Thanks, Mrs. Chin!
