It's been over 20 years since Mr. Robert Cooper entered my life. As an English teacher at John Jay High School, he provided me with the foundation I needed to succeed in College. As a mentor, he provided me with the courage, determination, self-confidence and will to be the best that I could be. He symbolizes everything a teacher should be. I can only hope that my children have a teacher half as great.
I often wish I could thank him in person so that he could know what a great job he did. He always went above and beyond and in my case if truly paid off.
