I would like to thank Mr. Hubbs, my global history teacher at New Dorp High School. My sophmore year is when I had Mr. Hubbs as a teacher. Still being an underclassman, I was shy and very quiet in class. I always listened to the lessons and did every homework. Mr. Hubbs had a different style of teaching then any other teacher I've had in the past. Since Mr. Hubbs was my teacher he broke me out of my shell a little but more so I'm not that shy when it comes to participating in class.
Now I am a senior at New Dorp high school and I still go back and visit Mr. Hubbs on free periods. Not only is he a great teacher, but he is a great friend.
