Even after all those years at Townsend Harris I still don't know if I'll 
be able to find the words to adequately express my admiration for Ms. Lonergan. Ms. Lonergan is truly the ideal teacher and an amazing person. To this day I am baffled at her intellect- her command of the subject matter was an absolute phenomenon to behold. When I look back on my high school days, Ms. Lonergan's class is the one I am most thankful to have taken; never before have I learned so much, and retained so much, as in Ms. Lonergan's U.S. History class. I wish everyone were blessed with as loving, kind, and brilliant a teacher as Ms. Lonergan.
