Every student goes through a year when they are stuck with a bad
teacher for nine months. But miraculously, I came upon a year when I met a new teacher who is now known as my favorite teacher. My Music Teacher, Mr. Piccirillo (Mr.P for short), has always been there for me since day one. I never thought that we would have such a great bond. He loves what he does and you can see it in his eyes. He has such a great passion for music that it's hard to describe the amount of effort and sacrifices he puts towards the students.
This is the year for me when I have a list of ideas of what I want to major in at college. It was hard for me at first to decide what career I wanted to study based on the things I like until I got to know Mr.P. I realized then how much Mr. P inspires me not just on the hard work he puts towards his students but his personality that brightens up my day. It was because of him that I am going to major in music education throughout my college years. I want to be just like him. I want to have the personality that makes everyone just love him. I want to also have the passion that he has towards music, a passion that lies within his heart, a passion he can't live without. I thank him for being there for me and guiding me throughout the rest of my high school years and improving my music skills for the future. Thanks MR.P!
