My name is Patricia Gray. I am a school aide at I.S.93 in Queens.
The staff at 93 are some of the best I have had the privilege of meeting and working with.
My husband went to 93, my 3 children all graduated from 93, and I also attended 93, so I have worked with some of them for years. This is a difficult decision to make, but I came up Maria Potestio, one of our paraprofessionals. In my opinion, paras don't get the gratitude they deserve. I have never seen a person work so hard. I have never heard her get cross with any of her students. She is the first one to volunteer for something when a job needs to be done, and never gets frustrated. Please consider Maria for thank a teacher. She deserves it.
